Paper Art and Origami Mobile Sculpture Workshop
Join us at the Brookland Arts Walk for a creative Paper Art & Origami Workshop led by master paper sculptor Sookkyung Park. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced paper‑folding enthusiast, you’ll learn how to transform flat sheets of paper into meaningful, handcrafted sculptures—giving them volume, presence, and a physical life in space while enjoying the beauty of the transformation process.
Workshop Dates:
- Origami Mobile Sculpture: Wednesday, April 15, 5:00 – 6:00 PM
- Origami Mobile Sculpture: Tuesday, April 21, 2:00 – 3:00 PM
- Lotus Lantern: Thursday, May 14, 5:00– 6:00 PM

The registration fee is $45. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Please specify your preferred workshop date when you register via one of the following methods:

Sewing Machine Basicsat AMEND+ADAPT Studio 10 (hosted by Topaz M. Terry)
Thursday, April 2nd, 5:30-8pm / Thursday, April 16, 5:30-8pm / Saturday, April 18, 3:00-5:30pm
Perfect for anyone curious about sewing, this 2.5 hour, hands-on workshop guides you through the fundamentals of using a sewing machine. No prior experience needed, and all materials and basic sewing tools are included.
These are held a few times each month so if these dates/times don’t work make sure to check back in future months!

Make your own leather wallet; we supply the know-how, tools, and thread, you supply the leather. During the workshop, you will select between a card slide, a folded mini-wallet, or, if you are willing to finish it at home, a billfold wallet.

Hand build mug workshop
Saturday, April 4 3:00pm - 5:00pm at Kuzeh Pottery (studio 18)
Join me, Pegah, in hand-building a mug through this engaging workshop. I'll guide you in creating a style, employing both template-based technique and more imaginative, freestyle designs.
Throughout this workshop, you will be:
Crafting a hand-built mug. Attaching a handle. Implementing strategies to refine and decorate the surface of your mug, resulting in a pot that is unique to you. Exploring techniques to ensure harmonious proportions in your work.
Complete your mug in a single class session! Select your preferred glaze, and we'll take care of the glazing and firing process for you. Your finished masterpiece will be ready for pickup 2 weeks after the class. We will reach out to you as soon as your mug is ready for pickup.
Please note that workshop registration fee is non refundable. If you inform us 2 weeks prior to the workshop date, you can reschedule for a future class.
